This painting was a bit of an experiment. I wanted to try using a range of materials that were taken from household waste. In this case, I used old plastic bottles, tea light holders, straws, tacks, a dried lemon, paper, a wooden coaster, corks and for small textured areas, I used rice and lentils. I sprayed gold paint over areas of the canvas and painted the rest with acrylic paint.
